The Old Blue Rooster Event Center holds a liquor license with the State of Ohio and all alcohol must be purchased and served by authorized OBR staff.

Ah, the feeling of cracking open a cold pop. Our event staff will stock and prepare cans of Coke, Diet Coke and Sprite on ice. We have large beverage dispensers labeled with lemonade and sweet tea. Water is bottled or dispensed and a commercial coffee pot provides plenty of fresh coffee. Most of these items are self-serve so no standing in line for a cold drink. If you have any special requests, we are happy to discuss!
Bar Types
CASH BAR
A cash bar is just that. Event guests pay for their drinks at the time of being served. We accept cash and all major cards so anyone 21+ can start a tab. Staff gratuity IS NOT included in bar tabs, so please remember to tip at your own discretion.

We can also do a bar that looks like this; for example, maybe beer and wine is open, but spirits are available by purchase only.
LIMITED COST BAR
You can choose an amount of money that you do not want to exceed when paying for an open bar. For example, if you do not want to spend more than $1000, then your guests will be served open bar style until the cost reaches $1000. Then, moving forward we will politely let your guests know of the switch if they wish to continue with purchasing a drink. The amount you choose to cover will be due at the end of your event. If you decide to cover more of the bar cost as the event goes on, then that can be arranged with the event manager at any time throughout your event. Staff gratuity IS NOT included in bar tabs, so please remember to tip at your own discretion.
OPEN BAR
An open bar means that one person is responsible for the bar tab for all of the guests. This will be paid the night of your event immediately after the bar is closed. We accept cash, check, or card. Unpaid tabs will be charged to the credit card on file. Card transactions will have a 3% fee. Staff gratuity IS NOT included in bar tabs, so please remember to tip at your own discretion.

DRINKS
You may have us order other alcoholic options that we do not normally stock. If you would like our staff to serve a certain beer, your favorite glass of wine, or a signature drink for the bride and groom- we'd be happy to help with this request! Bar and service arrangements must be made in advance to ensure items can be obtained and properly served. This is the fun part of our detailed meeting before your event!
